The 4 part series follows and chronicles South African A-list celebrity couple Somizi and Mohale as they embark on what promises to be one of the most heartfelt and extravagant weddings of the century.
The challenge was to bring the TV show to life with visuals that spoke to the wedding theme of African opulence.
The KANAKA solution:
We took inspiration from the iconic representation of a wedding that is wedding rings. This gave us a very strong, graphic and visual metaphor for the Union. We also created a stylised ampersand and extended into an expansive visual language that simply and effectively associates with the wedding visuals of opulence meets traditional.
