Imbasa is a young company, which is born out of the need to assist organizations to market their brands by creating awareness to the masses.
We needed to build a brand around its key strategic platform. The new brand isn’t flat. It’s three-dimensional, like people. It’s not stationary. Furthermore, it’s agile, like we need it to be.
The KANAKA solution:
We created a new brand name Imbasa (Star) that resonates with the founder’s Zulu roots and aspirations but yet also still fun and colourful for his employees and potential clients. One way to create an engaging logo is to make the viewer look twice.
Optical illusions are becoming more popular, they’re blurring the line between 2D and 3D. Brand elements included corporate stationery and collateral, a website, a corporate profile, outdoor signage, uniforms, and vehicle branding.
