The Insight:

Imbasa is a young company, which is born out of the need to assist organisations to market their brands through creating awareness to the masses

We needed to build a brand around its key strategic platform. The new brand isn’t flat. It’s three dimensional, like people. It’s not stationary. It’s agile, like we need it to be.

The KANAKA solution:

We created a new brand name Imbasa (Star) that resonates with the founders Zulu roots and aspirations but yet also still fun and colourful for his employees and potential clients. One way to create an engaging logo is to make the viewer look twice.

Optical illusions are becoming more popular, they blurring the line between 2D and 3D. Brand elements included corporate stationery and collateral, a website, a corporate profile, outdoor signage, uniforms, and vehicle branding.
